Both "wastage" from the racing industry. They were meant to be slaughtered for pet food when you helped us rescue them.
Both had been injured, neglected and arrived traumatised and terrified - expressing this as aggression towards humans.
It's been a long and yet miraculous journey and these horses are on the brink of a full recovery... PLEASE HELP THEM PULL THROUGH.

When River first came, we knew it would take a while before he was ready for a new home...but we didn't anticipate just how long some horses would need to be in care.
River and his friends need their own place to heal and wherever possible, thrive and be ready for a loving adoption home.
We continue to witness and create amazing positive outcomes for the horses in care...and we just know that with a better facility, River and Peppermint and their friends will have the best chance to heal. HELP RIVER GET READY FOR A LOVING HOME!
We have leased a lovely property where almost all of the horses have come together, with healthy, dryer paddocks for the hoof and healing crew...and expansive lands for the healthy horses.

The Kind Farm Inc has been depending on kind people in the community to offer their land.
For horses like River, he need extra help...we urgently are raising funds for a healing facility. a place for all of the horses to call home until they are ready for a new chapter.
